Whiteout conditions in Fort Erie

Gusty winds and moderately heavy snowfall is creating whiteout conditions in Fort Erie.

Some businesses are closing early and the roads are snow covered and slushy in places.

Snow is falling at a rate of 2 cm per hour with winds gusting to about 40 kmh from the southwest.
