Pride Field at Ridgeway-Crystal Beach High School will once again be the site of the annual Relay for Life to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Team participants will walk around the track in relays for 12-hours to earn pledges from the community overnight starting, Friday, June 7 at 7 p.m.
This is a key event for the Niagara unit of the Cancer Society.
Candles for loved ones and flags to show resolve will be place around the track to guide participants. Everyone will receive a flag and make pledges to fight back against cancer.
The first lap will be the Survivors’ Victory Lap to celebrate the strength and courage needed to overcome cancer.
