NRP smuggling allegations probed

Reporters from the CBC have turned their focus on the Niagara Regional Police in a lengthy examination of allegations of steroid and other drug use, excessive force and smuggling.

This morning, CBC reports that charges are expected to be laid against a few officers who are alleged to have smuggled large quantities of cheese from the U.S. to sell to Niagara restaurants, making up to $2,000 per trip.
