Hudak to stump in Falls today

Fresh from decisively quelling an insurrection within his party, Ontario Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak will visit a residential construction site in Niagara Falls with local nominee and former MPP Bart Maves this morning.

Hudak will speak about skilled trades at the Thundering Waters subdivision site at Stanley Avenue and McLeod Road at 11:45 a.m.

The riding suddenly became a hot spot with the sudden resignation of Liberal Kim Craitor this week and the announcement by Premier Kathleen Wynne of a March byelection.

A general election is scheduled for October 2015 but an earlier election would result if the minority Liberals were defeated on a non-confidence motion.
