Condo plan legal, court rules

The Bay Beach condominum agreement is legal, an Ontario Superior Court judge ruled today.

Details are sketchy, but Mayor Doug Martin confirmed the court had sided with the Town and Molinaro Group and awarded $110,000 in costs to be paid by the litigants.

Seven ratepayers represented by Buffalo lawyer John James Keenan last April sued the Town of Fort Erie and the Molinaro Group in order to nullify the agreement to construct the condominium project in Crystal Beach.

More to follow.
