Auditions for The Vagina Monologues

Open auditions are being held this month for The Vagina Monologues being presented at the Sanctuary Centre for the Arts in Ridgeway.

Performances will be April 9, 10 and 11 in the arts centre which used to be home of the Ridgeway Community Church. Tickets are $20.

It is a fundraiser for Women’s Addiction Recovery Mediation (WARM), Women and
Girls of Haiti and the Marsha Ellen Meadow Foundation (MEMF).

The Vagina Monologues was written and first performed by Eva Ensler in 1996 and is described as an inspiring exploration of female sexuality and empowerment.

Performers, stage hands and other volunteers are sought. No previous experience is necessary. Performers will be asked to prepare a short monologue for the audition, but the material doesn’t have to be from The Vagina Monologues.

Tickets will be available at The Revival Salon on Cutler Street in Ridgeway,  the Sanctuary Centre for the Arts on Ridge Road in Ridgeway and the WARM office on Jarvis Street in Fort Erie.

For more information or to reschedule an audition, please contact Deanna Spencer Walker at the Revival Salon, 905-894-3040.
