It looks like we’re going to have Harry Schlange to kick around after all.

Schlange (rhymes with clang) resumes his job as big kahuna at Town Hall Feb. 13 after a few months absence for employment in the private sector.

He left the town in November after assuming the post of chief administrative officer in July.

He had been an executive with IBM Canada before joining the Town to replace Ken Zurby who had retired a year earlier.

He left the Town in November to accept a position with Accenture, a global management and business consulting firm.

Town council adopted his four-year contract in January. He will be paid $120,000 a year with subsequent raises in pay each year.

He was originally scheduled to start Feb. 6 but was unable to meet that date and Council approved the new start date Jan. 30.

Planning director Rino Mostacci acted as the CAO in the absence of a permanent chief.
