‘A Canadian Christmas Carol’ preview tonight

A donation of a non-perishable food item is the price of admission to a preview performance of A Canadian Christmas Carol tonight (Thursday, Nov. 20) at Fort Erie Secondary School starting at 7:30 with doors opening at 6:30.

It is an adaptation of the Dicken’s classic set in Fort Erie in the years following the War of 1812, in which the war’s impact is felt by everyone in the border town except the penny-pinching miser Ebeneezer Scrooge.

The play features the combined talents of Garrison Little Theatre, the Dominion Repertory Theatre and students of FESS and is funded by a grant from the Town of Fort Erie as part of the War of 1812 Bicentennial.

The regular run of the play starts on Nov. 28 until Dec. 6 with ticket prices of $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.

Revenue from ticket sales and program advertising goes toward supporting after school events such as field trips.

Tickets can be purchased at Fort Erie Paints on Garrison Road, 905-991-8181.

Food items donated for tonight’s preview will be given to COPE.

That was my question too and will let you know when I find out. The Ridgeway Herald is basically monthly right now. I’ll leave some at DMH for you to take back for your neighbours etc.
